Trump administration cabinet officials, Tulsi Gabbard, John Ratcliff, Kash Patel, Timouthy Haugh Jeffrey Kruse, Pete Hegseth and Vice President J.D. Vance had a chat discussion, using an App on their personal cell phones a couple hours before the US attack on Houthis targets in Yemen. A reporter for Atlantic Magazine was included in the chat which discussed targets, weapons and timing.
This is a serious problem because:
- If this information had gotten into wrong hands, US service members might have been killed as a result. They were not.
- It is a bigger problem because these top leaders, including the Vice-President did not recognize the security leak. It was stupid.
- The use of personal cell phones for sensitive information may have happened before.
- And it is the biggest problem of all, because all these officials evaded questions and lied about the sensitive content of the chat to the people’s representatives on the Senate and House intelligence committees
3/26/25 Would I fire some or all of them, maybe not, but it sure was dumb. I would insist they bring in some experienced intelligence staff, like the guys Trump fired, to prevent this happening again.
3/27/25 So 24 hours later, Pete Hegseth continues to claim it was not classified information, he is clearly incompetent and should go. Mike Waltz claims he had the wrong number on his cell phone, missing the point entirely that secure information should not be discussed on a personal device. Tulsi Gabbard and others continue to evade and Trump himself has jumped in claiming a hoax, witch hunt and attacking the reporter, his usual stuff.
And my additional observation is that I think they did this because they were gloating about what they were about to do ….. kill people. I also observed the within this conversation about a military strick, several needed to parrot their view of Europe as a parasite and Biden as a fool. Made me wonder who the audience was and if maybe they included the reporter on purpose.

Meanwhile Elon Musk is tearing down the Social Security program, cutting Veteran’s care, while Trump and some Republicans at attacking the Court System. Like I said before, Putin could not ask for more. Are we going to pull a Putin and invade Canada, Greenland or Panama? Would the US military go along with it?
